Reconing a XXX! no side grinder?

So i have the old surround coil and spider out, i just need to finish cleaning up the old glue. I dont have aside grinder though like everyone says to use, is there another alternative? something else i could use my recone kit form PAP should be here sometime next week and i just want to make sure everything is cleaned up and ready to go for when it gets here. Not sure if those guys know how to setup an xbl^2 coil..or if they even have the right coil for the thing...so results could be less then desired..

Regadless you can do the majority of the work with a utility knife..just don't slit your arms.

Knock the majority of it off with a screwdriver and a hammer.

Well he has a Soundstream XXX.

So know you guys know.

Use something sharp and a bit strong, to clean of the big stuff.

Then i use some sandpaper.(don't know if it's the best method, but it get's the job done)
