Loudest Pair of SA-12s that I know of.

Recommended Posts

I've talked to him alot about this setup... putting the rear deck back in, metal and all (it bolts in an out), has only a few tenths effect on the score so this is a REAL trunk build.

It has done as much as 153.1 dB to date -- on the dash. And 152s at the head-rest... in the 40-44 Hz region. Scores done with seats locked in the upright position.

SAZ-4500D is wired to 1 ohm.

I'll get him to send me some pictures of the scores when his internet is back up -- and videos too.

They are stock SA-12s straight out of the factory box. No modifications to them.

I'm amazed...How in the world do the subs NOT blow? I know subs can handle burps but I cannot imagine him never playing them for at least 10 minutes....600RMS sub getting probably 2400...

Anyone?? How do you keep a 600rms sub from blowing?

I will show you when you come by on Saturday. People sleep on the SA. Well more then than they do now. You have to know what you are doing. If not then I don't care what the Driver is designed for, Either thermally or mechanically, if you don't know you can blow anything. Seriously you have do something real stupid and be a pure noobix to tear these things up.

It goes a lot further then "oh X square on X air space @ XX cycles should do it on X amount of power. Way WAY more complicated then that.

No the score hasn't been verified by Jacob. Perhaps when I do finally get a chance to get the car up to him we will get all the verification you all need, I do understand that the score maybe unbelievable but, If you are in my area come by and I will show you. I love demoing this vehicle. I also have a new camera on the way as we speak. I will get more videos of the vehicle.

I thought my score was crazy. Skip doing 48+ 's On a single SA. on 2 2500's In a SUV, now thats SICK. Or a Single SA8 doing 53's on a 3500.SICK!! Like I said. I was one of the first to post high numbers out of the trunk with a set of these. I guess that and what vehicle did it caused a stir. More and more people started posting huge numbers as well. Not only that, The SA sounds awesome to me. Im am in no way a SQ head. I could give a crap about all that. Just as long as they keep up with the front stage and get loud thats all i need.

The car is at its limits as far as scoring goes. I seriously doubt I could get any more out of it. Unless I blew it completely threw. In no way the point of what I'm, going for in this build. Now that the car has been modified and its structure is where I need it. I see good numbers out of a number of test's Ive done in it. Single 15's etc. I will just keep quiet about that for now.

The SA does a awesome Job on power handling. You just have to make sure you stay within its mechanical threshold and you will be fine. In no way do I recommend putting 2k a SA all day thermally, but for some demo's and lane runs they kill it. You have to be a complete retard to break the things. No doubt the SA is a history book sub.

I keep getting questions about the enclosure. Its is a very simple 40 on 100 off axis. It has a modified internal collector along with a number of bolt up output chambers. The pictures that you all seen posted are not what the trunk looks like when everything is in there. Those were Install pics. Position/ and how it loads makes all the difference. Alot has been changed in the entire car. I may even change a few thing by the end of the year and have a set of NSv.2 12's on a strapped pair a 4500's. We will see.

For right now I'm having fun tripping people out running a N.S. v2 15 on a bridged down 100.4!!!!!!!!!!!! Ask Old tomorrow night. He will be here tomorrow a friend of his.
