2 12" Fi IB3 or 3Pioneer Primeer Champion Pro 10"

Recommended Posts

Which one of these will be louder with more """"SQL""""?

which one will have deeper bass?

2 12" Fi IB3 on the rear deck of my Acura tsx or 3Pioneer Primeer Champion Pro 10" in a seald box @.75 cuft each?

also.. it says the IB3 handles 550 rms @ 20hz ....its that the max rms u can put to the sub.. or does it say that because its excursion limited there?... if so.. whats is it's max reccomended rms power thermal wise?

your opinion and feedback is welcome... thanx

It's infinite baffle..as in you do not put the sub in a box. It's rated at 550 watts at 20Hz, which means..IB..you can run about that much power to it until it bottoms out.

so it couldnt handle say like 750 rms @35 hz? cause it says 550rms @ 20 hz...and at 2ohz, it would have to use more excursion with less power.

also, which 1 would be better ?

3 Pioneer Primeer Champion Pro 10" in a .75 seald enclosure each oe 2 fi 12" in a IB setup?

IB woofers are not meant to be loud..if you are going for output then you are looking in the wrong direction. You have to have massive amounts of cone area before you get to the point of something being as loud as a sealed box or ported enclosure. Most guys who run IB in a car are going strictly after SQ..and that's really it.
