Hey guys my dad is in the market for a 4wheeler and asked me to ask my friends what are some good brands. He has about a 4500 budget no more. Needs to be 4wd, auto or manual doesn't matter. Used is fine, and it needs to be more for mudding and riding trials not really trying to set the new land speed record (a.k.a raptors )

honda foreman, rincon (have to buy the last one used)

yamaha wolverine, kodiak, big bear (those last two, u will have to buy used)

those are the ones i have experience with...

Well I have TONS of experience. I can tell you that the Kawasaki Prarie (any model) are great utility bikes. Great in the mud and they work well on the trails.

Another is the Honda foreman 400, another great bike. Honda rancher seems to be nice with the push button tranny.

You could buy my banshee...but its definatly not a utility ATV.
