FI Q Cooling option and I heat ring option

Recommended Posts

I see that the "cooling" option increases the power handling 200-500 watts. But i'm not sure how. Is it because it allows it to run cooler so u can push it harder or is it because it is harder for the amp to push allowing it to up the power handling? Also I don't know if I should get the "I Heat Ring" option or not. I see it says it will help overall transient response and will help it hit higher frequences, but don't know if that is good for sq or what exactly it means or does. Will it make the sub have more of a peak or not. I am looking to stay as flat as possible as this is an sq sub and dont want to get the heat ring if it will make the sub have more of a peak sacrificing sq. Thanks

Excuse me? I'll agree with Jon once again, I gave you part of what you were looking for, there is no need to post MULTIPLE threads to the same answer, they will be answered, unless you're going to be rude and a little shit about it.

:noob:

It's a shorting ring - you want it for an SQ woofer as it will decrease inductive distortion.
