Got an odd shaped enclosure

I started to build a new enclosure today. Gross interior is 12.5 X 53.5 X 7.5 bottom and 3.5 top, so 2.5 cubic feet gross. I am recessing the amp and the panel is 22.5 X 13.5 X .75 sunk 1.5 into the enclosure. There are (4) 1 X 2 X 55 and (4) 1 X 2 X 12.5 to account for and the displacement of the sub (RL-P) I think is .18. I want to tune this thing as low as possible (28-32 Hz) so dual 3" ports probably. How long do I make them?

For reference, take a look at the box Ryan (tirefryr) built his g.f. I am sinking the amp on the slanted side is the only difference and size of course.

Just built it today, sorry for the miscommunications, only have a limited amount of time on my hands and wanted to make use of it.

well, here's the deal..lol...u've only got 2.13ft^3 gross using those dimensions...

after figureing in ur amp recess at thes dimensions;22.5 X 13.5 X .75 sunk 1.5 into the enclosure, there goes another .26ft^3

take away the .18 for the sub...ur at 1.69ft^3

i have no idea what those other numbers are for...

but if those are the final dimensions...and assuming ur using shdl 40 pvc.....ur two 3" ports need to be 24.75" long for a tuning of 32hz in ur now 1.42net box.

i think that covers everything.....and those are the for sure final dimensions?

That recessed area only displaces 0.132ft^3 Kent, since it will be mounted onto the 3/4" MDF to lower it 1.5" into the enclosure.

For this enclosure:

I already gave Kevin a length of 21.817, which will tune the enclosure to 30.5Hz @ 1.638ft^3.

For other tuning frequencies:

28Hz: 27.402" (1.593ft^3)

29Hz: 24.982" (1.613ft^3)

30Hz: 22.867" (1.63ft^3)

31Hz: 20.997" (1.645ft^3)

32Hz: 19.323" (1.659ft^3)

so that the recessed area actually displaces like .26ft^3? because that's what i figured, the full 1.5" into the enclosure...

Yep, found a new spot to mount the amps, pics will be coming soon, so I am utilizing the whole space (what little I have). Sorry, I know there were a lot of numbers in there, but hey, ya gotta make an attemp . But big,big thanks Scott, got the ports cut and in, the box is drying tonight and is going in with the new amp rack tomorrow. And thanks to you to Kent, but I am glad I figured out a way not to sink the amp in the box and eat up too much space .
