Well, I Pmed jack frost the other night asking him about home audio. I don't know hardly anything about it other than Klipsch speakers are very good. I myself have klipsch 5.1's for my computer and my dad has about 6 klipsch speakers in the house. Well I was wanting to know what's good to buy for a 5.1 setup? I'm not really wanting a 2.1 setup just because I want full surround, I like how my dads setup sounds.

but I know you guys are gonna love these pics, especially you jack. I didn't even know I all ready had heresy's!!!!!

wow you suck at taking pics...but that is some good stuff to start with, i was given some polks but never got into the HT since my car is addictive as it is and i don't need to spend more money else where....nice though, i dig it.

Your dad must know a thing or two about it, hehe...'tis a good thing. The Cornwalls were some of the best high-eff speakers out there - a real 96dB/W or so of efficiency. The Heresy's are smaller as you know but lack the deep bass...and they're a little more power hungry. Still excellent speakers though

And that speaker wire looks like 12awg...same gauge I've got going to the '12a, so it looks familiar.

Yeah the heresy's don't have a lot of low end but they can get pretty loud. I do have a 2 channel amp I forgot about, but like I've been saying I need something with 5.1 support. Do they make receivers where they have EQ's and time alignment like H/U's?

btw, if you are wondering what 2 channel amp I have. I have a yamaha a-720, it's ok =/........

so give me ideas as to what I should match with the heresy's because my dad isn't going to just give me the cornwalls. lol

Well, ideally you should timbre-match the drivers with something else...like another pair of Heresy's

Some receivers have features like that. I'd prefer external EQ's over anything built in, though.

It doesnt really look like 12ga to me, especially with those big ring terminals on it

Seriously...I wish an American company built speakers like this today for those kind of prices. You have to spend over $1000 to get anything comparable.
