best sub for the money

my friend is wanting a new system he has a zx750.1 and wants 2 12s to go on it without breaking the bank he has about 200 dollar limit for both subs. i was just see your guys opinion on it i was think 2 cvrs for 220 brand new but tell me what you guys think he wants it to be really loud. the subs he had are 2 comp 12s, l5 12 and 15, alpine type r 15, rockford punch 12, 2 10 cvrs

Your best bet is probably going to be finding a used subwoofer with your budget. Might be able to find a 12" BL with that money

If you have the power for them, I'd think these could be louder than comp vrs fairly easily..ebay

Right now on millionbuy it seems you might be able to get 3 compvr 12"s for around $210. I would take the brutus subs over the pair of kickers, but if you have the amp wiring and power for it, get 3 of the comp vr 12's

alright i will try and get him to sell his zx750 and buy a audiopipe 1500 and two ia lethal injection 12s that should be way louuder than two compvrs and sound better too right?

I got one 15" Lethal Injection on a zx750.1 and its loud as hell. Plus it didn't break the bank.

I'd go with 2 SSA DCON's they should handle the 375 watts apeice pretty well, and will sound clearer and hit harder than Kicker CVR's.

(the prevous statement may not be tru or accurate to the best of my ability, it is only my suggestion)

Agreed on DCON's over CVR's, the DCON's sound better in my opinion.

DCONs would be a great choice, they are budget minded and will hit with the big boys, while sounding great doing it!

Tell him to save some cash, and to sell his amp if he can have a good price for it.

$200 for 2 12's ? You won't find louder than what he already had.

Maybe used subs : one used Fi BL, or Sundown Z15 v1. Try one 15" sub, it will be cheaper, and can be louder than 2 cvr's.
