I ordered an 18" SP4 and they want to charge me 100 on top of the 150 I have already paid for the shipping. Look for your local CBSA office, call UPS and get them to send you the commercial shipping invoice, print that. Bring your ID and tracking number, then you will just have to pay the GST/HST/PST, I have to drive 120km to get my customs paid for, but even with gas I am still going to save 50.

If anyone from FI reads this, it might be a good idea to weigh your options shipping with USPS for Canada, lots of people do not know you can clear your own packages, and they are going to get charged a lot of crap brokerage fees, which is just a ridiculous scam.

USPS lost about 12 packages which is why we quit using them many years ago..because they would not pay to replace them.

That is reason enough to stop using their service, thank you for getting back to me about that. For future purchases, can someone coordinate their own customs clearance with FI, which would be passed through to UPS? I know from talking to the people at UPS, if you do not pre-coordinate your clearance with UPS, they will leave the item at the port of entrance (which was 700km away from my location in my case) and the buyer would be responsible for dealing with the package therein.
