performance products has these for my car,

I personally have not used them on anything short of a 993TT or anything track only,

who has experience with them for daily driving, even though my car sees the outside of the driveway one a week max

we ran all the SS lines on a 79 trans am last fall... we test drive it (hard braking & brake torquing) for about 20 miles. Honestly, wasn't too noticable different.

The kid later switched to DOT4 fluid... gave him alittle stiffer pedal, yet it was more responsive (relative to DOT3).

u may not notice much of a difference between SSBL's and newer OEM ones, but give them some miles and u'll tell a difference.

the SSBL are definitely going to stand up to abuse a lot better and last longer. i fur going to be driving hard for extened periods, definitely a must. if ur going for look, i'd think just eh braided covers would work jsut as good.

If you have ABS, they're pretty much useless. The ABS pump is going to regulate the pressure to the point where they'll never see the extreme pressures necessitating Stainless braided lines.

I personally feel they make no difference outside of racing. I had them on my 95 GT, didn't make one bit of difference. OF course that had ABS.

I don't particularly feel they will last longer either. Todays rubbers and synthetics are far superior to those of years past and they will not break down as fast. I have had 25+year old cars with the original lines on them and were still in great condition.

I don't feel it's worth the money for your application. Change the fluid every 10-15K miles and you'll be fine. Problem is, brake fluid is so often overlooked and is one of the most critical fluids in the vehicle. Heat is the enemy and with brake fluid, high pressures and heat are at the extreme.

anyway, in a situation where ur brakelines are exposed, ie trucks...SSBL are the only way to go, regardless of today's materials in brakelines..IME, they just won't hold up like SSBL.

but nick and ryan have more knowledge when it comes to pavement punders....so, maybe they are correct. but i'd still run them...

well the car will never see the track again, it has basiclly become a highway feast in that car, it can eat up miles of blacktop in a short amount of time really smoothly,

I was thinking of doing them since I am going to have all new rotors put on soon
