Component Prefrences!

Recommended Posts

Ok here is a serious question and I would love everyone who veiws opinion. There are three sets of 6.5'' components, you can only choose 1.

Alpine SPX-17PRO (Type X)

Kicker 04SS65.2

Kicker 10QS65.2

Here is my issue, yeah i actually ordered all three, its a long story but end result is i own all 3 sets. just need to know wich i should use. I actually have a set of the older Type -X in the truck now, and they are amazing. But I have heard alot of good about all three. Here is what I am looking for. I want Loud Crisp mids and highs...i mean LOUD, but with out distortion.

Just let me know! :ehh:

Welcome to SSA. How about we focus on the needs and goals of what you need components to do. ;)

what i want my components to sound like will probably be different than what you want. so... we need to know what you want. it doesnt matter what we choose out of the blue. put all three in, take a couple days with each, and tweak with each one and figure out which you prefer. :drink40:

^^^^^^ this makes the most sense to me considering you've already purchased all 3. Take a few days with each and play with settings to get them where you like em the best. Just my 2  cents

Test them all out and give us a detailed review comparing and contrasting the different sets of components you have, this will be very helpful for the forum and members in the future. :captain:
