got any other amps running or just one for the subs? Upgrade your battery to a dry cell one and also look at something that is about 700-900RMS at 1ohm or 4ohm.

the MTX Thunder 502 is a amp that is small in size that would power it at a great price

500-1000 watts will be plenty.

if you want a little more juice with tremendous efficiency, look into memphis. i think the new ones are nice but i have no experience...

i do however own last years 16-MC100D. it makes 1100 watts at 1 ohm, 600 at 2, and 300 at 4 ohms. it dims only when i really crank it and my alternator puts out maybe 110 amps (this i think is right).

make sure you've got the big three done (i'm one to talk, i haven't even got it done).

:lame::Doh:

good luck with your purchase. memphis is rock solid. my 2 cents.

the new lunar L1500 would be an awesome choice. its 500w x 1@1ohm, draws something like 50amps and very efficient.

HCCAfan has some great prices on Orion amps right now. He made a FS post about them.

something in your numbers isn't right. either it's more than 500 X 1, or doesn't really draw 90 amps, or it's not efficient. 90 amps X 13.5 volts is 1215 watts, so if it only puts out 500 it's only 41% efficient.

i don't know anything about the amp, good or bad, just being nitpicky.
