15" xcon not good at upper bass??

Recommended Posts

well the way it is now, it hits the mids better and it can still hit down to 30hz with intensity. my box is 4ft^3 tuned to 29hz.

:woot: Well it seems like you have what you want, are those paint cans stable in that box with the pressure and moving around from driving (dont want to mess up a good box or subwoofer).

I taped them shut to make sure and they have only moved an inch so far. I can't drive to crazy with original front shocks.

I put 1 one gallon paint can and 4 one quart paint cans inside the box to test how it sounds

Post a picture so I can write FAIL under it and post it in your other posts. Haha, just playin man, kinda... You do have a great box, and a great sub. I think you should listen to EVERYONE and work on your front stage.

So, I was experimenting and reading up on phase, and I went and tried pointing my sub towards the front, and it sounded about the same but hit harder, so then I played with my d.t.a. on my radio and got things in phase and now I got some mids. :)
