MDF

Can you order 1" MDF somewhere online? does home depot or lowes carry this? What about 1" birch plywood. I want strong but lightweight.

Your in San Jose!!! I'm just down in Morgan Hill/Gilroy. I get all my MDF from Aura Hardwood. They carry all types of lumber and plywood.

some menards and lowes carry 1" and somebody on another forum found a lowes that carries 1 1/8th or 1 1/4 mdf id remember which one it was but either way...thick shit. just go in an look and if they don't have any on the shelf, ask if they can order it. also, check ur local lumber stores. they might also be able to order it or tell you who can.
