You could probably get away with 4, I have each of mine in 5 each.

From what I have been told, seen with my own eyes, and heard myself 4.5-5 cubes per MT 18" is the best for music.

John Holmes, your starting to make a bad recommendation that will cause mechanical failure to new users. An experiences person can get away with such a large enclosure, but that's where I draw the line.

That means you have a very poorly built box.

Most likely it will sound like pure arse sealed.

thanx for all the info but my friend went with his 12'' orion hcca to bad i got the wood cut for the 12 but now i can tell him we can fit the 18 .thanx for info

Actually yeah you do need to provide details, that is what is stated in the topic posting guidelines. Regardless if you feel you dont need to provide details you do and it will help you plus others reading this topic in the future who may be in the same situation. Just a heads up

Even though he didn't provide great details it still did not need that kinda of reply.

He could have asked for more details if he wanted them.

I definitely didnt condone what John Holmes said but regardless it is the rules (no way around them, plain and simple as that). Power would also play a good role in what size box to use as well.

Just give info and details to help give a better answer, it is really helping you in the long run.
