I melted the shit out of a konfused 1/0 distro. block from the screw on the bottom grounding out. Could have easily burned my car to the ground. Fuck that and fuck compression fittings.

Sounds like a user error rather than a product error, if mounted correctly to where it couldnt ground out then it wouldnt of caused this issue.

Do not buy the knukonceptz terminals. I and a few other dudes on here have had terrible luck with these things. try em if you want but im just trying to save you a few bucks. i dont know anybody yet that had good luck with them.

Yeah I've also come to the conclusion that they suck.

So what don't you guys like about them? Compression fitting? Or don't they tighten enough around the post?

They dont tighten up on the post and if you try to give it half turn more it strips.

X2 i stripped both of mine, have diff. screws in there now and they seem to be fine. but they still dont get eight enough it seems... i definitely wont buy them again.

Anyone know if they still make those tsunami battery toppers for optima batteries? I've seen a few pictures of them, but can't find anywhere thats selling them. I think I'm going to order an optima 34/78 (the one with the dual terminals) so I can just use my top terminals and screw ring terminals onto the GM mounts.

Sounds like forum post misunderstanding error. It was not user error. It was product manufacturer error.

The Knukonceptz Konfused battery terminals should NOt be used with high output alts either...

How ironic is that? considering how they support 3 1/0 inserts.

The material they make the terminal out of is of the poorest conductor to use obviously.

Back when i had a 200A measured alt on my car, those terminals would get SCORCHING hot! That's a great indicator of resistance buildup inside the terminal.

I make my own terminals now.

I would offer the OP some but right now, i dont want to rush myself before i'm ready to start producing them regularly.
