Planning ahead

Last I had the system installed I was running my 15" Ti in a 4.3^3ft enclosure tuned to ~24Hz with roughly 750w on it. Loved the way it performed but I sold the Viper, partly because I needed money and parly because I plan on keeping the Ti and didnt like not using the amp to its full extent.

Im thinkin around 1.2-1.5kW in something around 3^3ft tuned to a fairly low frequency.

What do yall think for a daily set-up? I dont have any programs any more, they are all on the desktop which is en-route to Norfolk right now so I can't plot the enclosure size and tuning to see how it would work out.

I know Denim has a lot of experience with Ti's, anyone else?

I know you have experience with them, but I have never spoke with you about what kind of set-up you like to run when using them. With that being said, your advice/thoughts are welcome and wanted

from what I have seen, they can take much more power than ratted, they are an over built driver, which is nice IMO, anyway the enclosure sized have been all over the map, but if you are dumping more power into it, I would maybe go down in volume and down in tuning, basicly like you had planned so I think your on the right track,

heck I have seen a pair of 15s inverted in I think 1.5 each and it really was one of the more precise hitting large woofer set ups I have heard

The main reason for the power was because with 750wrms in a rather large enclosure, I wasnt getting what I felt was full output. And ten sincei plan on putting it in a smaller box, bla bla bla.

I've had a few convos with Stephen Ponte and I'm not worried about sending 1.5kW to the Ti, the only problem, if I'm responsible should be mechanical and that wont be a problem.

Guess I will just have to expierement when I get back to the states, see what I like best for myself.
