BTL questions

Recommended Posts

I have a few questions about the Fi BTL sub"

1) What is the difference between choosing the options Dual 1 and Dual 2? Ex. Would i have to buy a certain amp if I chose Dual 1 or Dual 2? or if i get 2 subs would i need 1to be dual 1 the other to be 1 dual 2 ?

2) Is there a warranty for the Fi BTL sub, if so how long is the warranty for?

Thanks for your time regarding these questions, Alex

If you get a dual 1 you can either wire to .5 ohm or 2 ohms.

If you get dual 2 then you can wire it to 1 ohm or 4 ohm.

Not so sure about the warrenty question. I really don't think so though..

there is no warrenty available for the BTL. There is a waiting period for them right now...

as for the dual 1 or 2 option that will be based on what amp you will purchase....what does your electrical consist of?

That's for us to know who you are when you blow it and send it in.

There is no warranty on the BTL's...only for manufacturing defect...which..really...that's all thats on the other subs anyhow. Speakers don't blow themselves, some degree of stupidity has to insue.

To the OP..if this is your first stereo..I'd highly suggest into looking into something smaller first. You are trying to hop into a top fuel funny car..and you just got your regular drivers license and you are expecting to be able to drive the fuel car...

There's a learning curve that goes with this stuff, and as much as I hate to say it...people see stuff on Youtube and think "Hell he put 6000 watts to his BTL's I can do it too!"..and they turn them inside out and burn them up 2 days later.

Oh okay, my bad. I just saw "warranty" on it and figured there was a warranty of some kind. I'm sure I won't have any problems out of it anyways.
