What amp to use

just ordered 3 sundown audio sa8 dual 2 ohm

-400watts rms

---i no there are a few ways i can wire them up one way does 1.33 ohms and other is 3 i think cant remember got to double check that one

-----ill be in a sealed box.

-----need an amp that will push them

it will be a daily driver so something where they can run for a good hour with out damaging anything

An hour...those are some low standards

Pick the amp that falls into your power and budget goals, being mindful of how much current it draws in relation to your electrical system's potential. Then find the ones that you like looking at, all else being equal in regards to quality

i woudl look at the sundown sale for MARCH (which ends today) and get a saz1000 or sae1200 and call it a day!

but a budget would be nice! also have you done the big 3 yet or even an alternate battery in the car or a h/o?

Well hours on end would be great. this will be my first build so....

big 3 its going to be done at the same time i put the subs in

budget max would be $300.00

and going to look into the sundowns right now

looked at the sae1200 that woudlnt be to much power to them would it? i dont think it would just double checking

want to order while i can get in on the sale still

for it being a daily driver i dont know which one to lean on.

new battery yes trying to pick one out now as we speak

not looking at an alternator at the time being but most likely i will when i get my second job this summer but not any time soon

x2 or the sundowns. While I'm waiting on my other amp I've been running 2 of them on 1/4 the power and they sound excellent! I can hardly wait to run the at rms.
