Bonangs Monte Carlo Build (current car)

Building a Single 12" sub box for a Kaption SPL1200. Tuned to 35hz.

3/4 MDF

Double Faced

Brace in the corners with 45 deg

Glued, nailed and screwed

Resin and fiberglass the inside and outside

Bodyfill and paint

The face is not secured in but I sat it in place.

The box now has been sanded down and body filled and painted blue. Will end up being carpeted I think.

Its nice and clean on low sub vol. I have people geuss there was more then a single driver in the trunk. It can get crazy loud but nothing to serious.

143.7 on the dash sealed up.

Next weekened I will have TL videos. My friend has a TL but he is 4.5hrs away from me. So Its not accessable all the time.

31sq ft of Hushmat (in the doors and trunk, and trunk lid . I have about 5 sheets left.

Some updates since I last posted.

Put the RF 800a2 in the closet for a while and purchased a New Kenwood X1200M and also built a simple amp rack to hold the amps.
