You will get more instantaneous power out of a XS power battery than the yellow tops. The 1200 is physically much smaller than the 1200.

All of XS Power Batteries work as starting batteries. You don't need different color batteries or tops to do different things with our batteries. We use advanced technology in our manufacturing which allows our batteries to stand up to the many needs that our customers have. You can have a D3100 starting your car/truck one day and then powering a system the next, and then use it to weld up a race chassis if you need to.

opps... the 1200 is much smaller than the yellow top it is being compared to.

Yeah pretty much, but for some reason they dont let us print that on the batteries.........lol
