rca controlled neon light conrtoller?

Recommended Posts

I have spent an hour on google searching trying to find a neon light controller that will flash to the music using a rca cable so the neon flashes to the music and not people talking. I have seen them before but i cannot seem to locate one now that I wan't to get one.

When I had neon lights I would just take the plug in part off and split the two wires from each other. I would wrap one wire around my remote start wire and put it in the remote start terminal on the amp and the other wire was wrapped around the ground wire and place in the ground terminal. This made my neon go to the beat, hope that makes sense and helps. Just make sure your neon has the blinking feature.

well that shouldn't make ur neon blink unless ur voltage is dropping that much in ur remote wire.

If you have a neon that has the blinking feature on it, then it will.

that could kind of work, but its not proper, I have seen these neon control box that at the time where $40-$60 and let u plug in a rca cable and you could hook multiple neons to it so they would blink perfectly to the music, and so that it wouldn't blink every time a door was closed.

o ya well ya the blinking feature but all that is is a microphone, which also blinks to people talking doors closing and such I don't want that.

huh, I am but what would a neon have anything to do with sound quality, it won't affect the way anything sounds. if your referring to the rca jacks, I would hook it up to the output jacks on my subs amp. so it won't affect anything.

Build your own with LEDs.

This is a great idea! LEDs kick ass.
