DD 2512 d2 vs Fi BL 12

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for the best overall SQ and SPL, a good balance. I'm only getting one sub cus I don't really have the space for 2. But I'm getting a custom box built around 2.0 cu ft. Tuned around 33hz. I have a Rockford 1000bd-1 (birthsheet 1373rms at 14.4v) . Wired to 1 ohm.

Don't say Fi Bl just because your a Fi fan, I need to know which sub is better.

THanks

Both! Both are great drivers, well built and still built in the USA.

Did you compare specs 1 vs the other?

I have a DD dealer here in town and i'm good friends with those guys. But for some reason I just don't like the sound of DD. Another friend of mine has 2 12" Fi SSD (i know not the same) but imo are louder, more sq and just overall a better driver imo.

Go with the BL!

The BL is more comparable to the 3500 or 9500, but the 2500 can be made louder than the BTL. It is ALL in the installation, pick the driver that best fits your budget. Keep in mind though, the 2500 has a 2.5" coil and half the thermal power handling as the BL, which has a 3" coil.

Nice, definitely wouldn't buy the DD for your needs.

Wouldn't Buy That DD Series Period, Never Would Have A Use For It.

The The 9500f or g Series Or Z On The Other Hand, Maybe.
