small sa-12 build

lil build i did this weekend, 3 sa-12s on a saz [email protected], 6cf@30hz kerfed port sealed w glass. lots of sanding left and a outside glassing needed but sounds great

with the march sale going on aer you going to buy another 1500? or is a single 1500 enough power for you?

this box is actuality for 3 z.2 12s on a 4500, and im sponsored and a rep so i dont think my price will change any, these bad boys are going into a wall in a 99 cavy 4 dr walled to the front seats, gana use 6 sa-12s on 2 1500s.... gana need about 1g in electrical before i get the zs and 4500

nice setup dude, do you measure the ohm load to the amp with a dmm? and if so what do i gotta put it on to do that. i always just thought that the number would be even like .5, 1, 2, 4 and so on.

havent clamped yet, i have a comp this weekend in union mo so will have tl numbers doing a 30 sec music avg and a 3 min avg, and 3 d4s wired in parallel ends up being .66667

i wasent sure having bat to alt to bus bar would be ok but it worked out well.... lil over kill haveing 2 runs of 0g flex and 1 run klmx 0g lol

my suggeation is that you need a fuse within 18 inches from the front battery (your pulling alot of currect draw). Also good luck changing your air filter. I wouldn't trust your average oil change place to do it.

i do all my own work lol never would trust an oil place, i use royal purple lol. and its only a couple screws to get the the filter

will have tl numbers and some comp vids tomorrow, im running 2 classes, xrtm2 (30sec musical avg 12" outside passenger window) and kaos (3min musical avg at the front window) will also get a burp number just for giggles lol, wish me luck!

and on a side note, i dont really like fuse's they generate resistance and heat, i have never had a problem running w/o them and have had problems running them so thats y i dont use them, or solder my wires.... just add resistance

had a great day at the comp, place 2nd and 3rd, 30 sec musical avg 12" out side passenger window was 128.6, 3min musical avg at the dash was 141....... got a chance to clamp the 1500....... tehehe 1600w......@2ohm dropping to 12v... at 20hz tone..... steering wheel shakes up and down almost an inch at 20hz lol

also on class i was beat by 8 10" ia 187s on 2 kicker 2500s other class was beat by 4 9512s on a m4 so im happy rofl..... the 9512s only beat me by 1 db on 30 sec avg....

from what i have seen louisiana has a lot of ppl doing car audio shouldent be to hard bro, those 8"s are the beefyest i have seen for the money
