need help?!

Recommended Posts

ok, im have a big, big problem right now. i dont know what i want to do with my truck. im really into the whole "wall your truck out and go deaf" thing. but now that i have a extended cab truck, i dont know that i want to do it. im still trying to decided on giving up all that room to do this. i was talking to a friend, and he asked what if people wanted to go ride around and stuff. so i dont know what i really want to do. im stuck in the middle here. on one side, i love car audio and on the other, i like chilling with the friends. can anybody sorta led me in the right direction?

I am in the SAME boat, a nice back door solution is a blow-though. What do you think?

If not.. fuck friends, have the boys hop in the bed and your girl in the passenger seat and wall the FUCK OUTA THAT BITCH ;):D:slayer:

Its all about compromise, its what you want and what your willing to give up to get it. You will have to sit down and think about what will make you happy at the price of what your doing without. For instance smaller setup for more room for passengers and storage area or bigger/badass setup with limited to no space available.

basically just take out half of the backseat, like take out the whole back and just put a single bucket seat in the back and then put a box on the other side. best of both worlds.

If wanting to have more then you + front seat passenger and don't want to do a blow-through.. i x2 on this idea.

EDIT: OR do the same thing with the back seat.. and do a half wall type deal? - that'll be NUTZ!

well, i usually have 4 people in my truck no matter what. i was kinda thinking. instead of going for a straight spl build, maybe i can fit 2 8s under the backseat? ive seen some 8s that can actually move some air. and if i build the box right, i know i can get it to hit. im just going to have to get some pictures and let yall take a look at them and tell me what you think.

I don't know how the 95 model is but i do know you can fit a 15" Fi BL under the back seat of a 05 gmc sierra.

See link: 2005 GMC Sierra VERY CLEAN

shit.. the truck in the link is not an ext cab, sorry. BUT thats an idea if you have the space

I had 2 10s under my rear seat of my 97. Just wasn't what I wanted but they sounded ok.

I got a great deal on a fiberglass bed cover, So I cut my wall. That made a world of difference to me.

I've also seen 2 downfiring 12s under that seat. Sounded great.

I can't tell. do you have buckett seats with a center console ?? I've see alot of trucks with a box (1 12)in the center console. They sound great with minimal change to the truck.

ok... my bad ... you do have a center console. You might try a box in the center and a amp rack under the rear seat.

just a suggestion to sound good and save room.

If you get a chance, Come to Top Dollar Pawn Shop in Jackson for a USACI competition on March 27th.

A friend of mine will be there with his Chevy. It has a box in the center built like a console. That thing sounds GREAT !!!

I had a friend with a 98 1500 extended cab, he had 2 10's (jensens i think) in fiberglass boxes. boxes were nice but the subs sounds absolutely horrible. I kmow what you mean on being limited on space, i drive a single cab ford ranger with a 10 in it. but i bet if you can find the right place, you can get 2 down firing boxes for 10's.
