Im sorry to waste your guy's time with this one.. im about 99.99% of the answer but I have to ask. I got my order from knukonceptz yesterday, i had ordered 2 of their ANL fuse holders with 2 250A fuses. They sent me 300A fuses. clearly their mistake after checking the confirmation email. Ive been told to fuse to your wire. the wire i have is the KLMX KnuKonceptz wire which states loads up to 250A .. these 2 fuses were meant to go in between 2 batteries (kinetik hc2000 and hc1800) I have the proper fuses for everything else just these 2 that are a little higher than i asked for. Do i gotta go spend the $10 or so and get the right fuses? or even worse wait for knu to send me the right ones (sent them an email already) lol... go figure after dumpin damn near 2g's into my stereo system im worried about buying 2 damn anl fuses LOL..

I would recommend buying the 250 amp fuses. I would not worry about a whole 10 dollars, OR what brand they were.

like ppl like to say fuse to the wires capability! since that wire is rated at 250amps i would fuse to 250 amps! no need to risk a 2g system due to a fire and only over a 10$ item!

if I were you I would just pop over to your local shop pick up the correct fuses then tell knu to send you 2 -250amp fuses and you return the 300amp fuses then once the 250 come from knu return the ones you purchased at the local audio shop! that way you aren't out 10$ and you don't risk ANYTHING!

also keep in mind you MIGHT be okay with the 300amp fuses but unless KNU gives you something with writing on it say 300 is good enough and if something happens (due to too much current and the wires jacket catches fires due to much amperage though the wire) they will cover your ass b/c your insurance company will not! lol!

How long is the wire you're fusing and what gauge is it?

Like CrazyKenKid said, check your local shop. You can probably pick some fuses up for cheap rather than having to wait on shipping new ones.

thats what i thought lol.. need to go get some 250A fuses. Wire is Knu KLMX 1/0 gauge, probably 15-18ft run on that particular wire. I emailed knu the day i got the order, it was a friday and its only sunday now so Ill give them till tomorrow or tuesday to respond, this whole install wont happen for at least 2 more weeks, i have time. Thanks
