Please, don't use UPS...

UPS has been good to me, my xcons came in fne, as well as 3 h.u's i odered, amps, etc. Maybe their just bad in different areas.

ahh.. shipping claims...

I ship out subs all the time. I've only had one damaged in shipping (UPS)

now on the receiving end it's a different story...

I've seen the fedex guy actually kick my subs off his truck before (eight 10's broke two)... And I like the guy personally...

UPS has thrown my woofers in a mud hole in a rain storm when I have and enclosed porch--nightshade 12's.

fedex has left the package at the end of the drive--right on the curb--this isn't a gated community

fedex has also left the package at the wrong address and got it signed for... took days to find it.. they had no Idea where it was... I literally drove to every place on the street till I found it.. (four solo x 10's btw..)

**If you do enough online transactions you're bound to have a shipping horror story..

Well lets see. F USPS! UPS has only damaged one package and the manager at the store followed through on the claim for me and I got my check within 2.5 weeks. Fedex hasn't broken anything yet. DHL delivered my mach5 mj-18m to 5020 instead of my address of 5202. I thought someone stole my sub lol.

USPS is shit. I bought a vintage home audio amp off ebay and it arrived on my doorstep with hole in the box and the top looks to have been stomped on. I opened the box and the amp had broken posts, dents all on it. It turned on but didn't do anything else. I made a claim and took my stuff, paperwork, packaging, and amp, to the USPS office. They took it and sent it off to "Accounting" I waited 2 months with no notices. I went out to the post office to see the status and they don't have any info on my claim. They lost my stuff. I was pissed. The girl that processed my claim said to call accounting as she cannot do anything. I called accounting but they said they don't have any paperwork or my stuff so they told me to call the main USPS number. I called and they told me to call the local post office. They had me going in circles. I was damn pissed. I emailed the accounting department claims director and bitched them out. She sent me an email back saying she did have my package but no paperwork. I would have to reapply for the claim. Okay so I did it online the 2nd time. It then told me that I am out of the claims time period so I cannot make a claim. lol. So I emailed the director back and told her and said she had to take the claim. 2 weeks or something later, my claim is processed. I didn't receive a check until 4 months after. It was only 2/3 of the cost of what I paid.

I am always afraid when I order something online. When I use UPS, my items goes to France, and then cross the ocean a second time to arrive in Martinique, in the Carribeans : it's such a long road !!!

I always pick my orders at the airport, because UPS will take at least 2 days to deliver !!

Fedex is really faster, they can deliver in 3 days from California !!! And they have beautiful women working for them : it's a pleasure to stop at their office !!!

USPS : ONE MONTH for anything !!! They give you enough time to forget what you ordered !!!

So far, I've never had any broken items delivered.

But some items never came !! Hopefully, it was on ebay and paid with Paypal, so I got refunded easily!
