Shit fell off the couch and broke my moms marble tile FTL,

Waiting on the other 1 with the 2 baskets, weird they didn't come the same day since he said he shipped them the same day.

On another note fixed my 4x4 finally, dam transfer case motor was crapped out. Cant wait for some more snow so i can see what these tires are made out of.

Oh!

On another note. Finally finished building my new saw. I know you get what you pay for, but I had no idea the difference. The build quality alone blows it away. The fence is fantastic. The blade height and bevel is all precise, smooth and metal gear driven.

The best part is how smooth it cuts and how quiet it is. That is what surprised me the most. Seriously, its about as loud as an electric toothbrush. My Craftsman sounded more like texas chainsaw massacre.

If anyone is serious about building, I would highly recommend buying a nice saw. I was a little apprehensive about spending $600 on a saw thinking my $200 Craftsman would be more than enough. It does the job, or it did until it started falling apart, but there is no comparison to a real saw.

lucky i didnt just break my finger a few minutes ago...

I unscrewed a sub in the wall to start reinforcing the mounting points for the subs with steel...

I had the sub propped forward so i could get a drill in there and drill out some more holes for the steel but the sub wasn't push out right...

So i laid the drill down, grabbed the sub at the top and was just going to lift it up slightly so it could fall back into the baffle so i could pick it up again and shift it...

Well, as soon as i picked it up, it immediately slammed back into the baffle unexpectedly and jammed my finger right at the joint against steel.. So steel on steel at 50lbs a second, lol.

Once i got done cussing about how laid back and lazy that sub is.. not wanting to stand up and MOVE.. i pulled my finger back and luckily.. it only broke skin.

I almost took a hole-saw and rip right through the cone i was so pissed at this sub..

But oh well.. now.. ironically, 4 minutes later, both my drills died so waiting for them to charge.

Damn it!! Uncle Sam raped me on this check :(

Looks like I'm just paying for the preorder on the Sundown SAZ-3500v.2 off of this check. I will probably be closer to mid/late feb before everything gets ordered. The Sundown comps are out of stock anyway so I'll be waiting on those regardless. Luckily, it's cold & I'm not motivated to work on anything right now anyway ;)

Hope everyone is doing well & enjoyed the holidays :)

I feel you chuck. I had a bunch of overtime mostly due to my 24hr long work day I had. Left my house at 630 pm Wed and got home 635 pm Thurs lol. I nearly doubled my gross pay but only brought home 25 percent more.

Man ive been thinking about selling both of my amps to get matching or just 1 big amp, but idk peoples prices are ridiculous for less wattage than i have lol.

5000w amps going for over 1k$ is ridiculous to me.

I paid 500$ for a 5000w amp and before that about 300$ for a 2500w amp.

Rediculous, so unless i can sell mines for that much i'll just run a bastard system.

Also i forgot i was running at 2ohms instead of 1 which should net me 4000w or so lol ninja.gif

Need a dual bracket.

So i'll def be over the 15k watt mark, im getting adhd.gif just thinking about it now, lol, but its freaking 19deg outsidesigh.gif..

It is crazy, it is difficult to sort through all the info and make a solid choice, obviously budget is only one of the many factors that make it a chore to choose your equipmet.

You think $1k for a 5k amp is ridiculous?

Back when I got into car audio in the late 80's the Rockford power 1000 amp was $2000. Back then it wasnt uncommon to pay atleast a dollar per watt on anything of quality.

I guess it is all about perspective and to me knowing how much stuff cost back in the day it seems much cheaper.

Dont get me wrong though this still isnt a cheap hobby.

I thought 1k$ was pretty good for a 5k amp. Just look at what the RF were going for at local car electronic stors. I remember a quote, for the RF 2k, and the 100.4, it was 1200$ here in TN.

lmao can u say blown out^^^^

And yes 1k is ridiculous when i have bought the same amps for half the price just because i knew someone.

I mean retail i could imagine paying that much but used online smh.

its just like rims and motorcycles, ppl trying to sell thier 1990 gsxr for 3000$ smh or 2000$ for some rims when you can find them for 500$. Im not saying that they aren't worth it but if i can shop around and save 75% why not.

Oh yea...Found a bracket on smd for 75$, retail yea 300$gayhaaay1.gif
