IA Lethal Injection Sub Box.

Recommended Posts

So I have a 2007 Honda Accord Coupe. I am looking to get a 12'' Lethal Injection and I am looking for a sub box. I was looking on the Fisher Custom site but that is out of my price range. I was hoping that this one I found on SonicElectronix would be good. If someone could please help me out it would be much appreciated.

I will ask my other question here so I don't make an extra post. Like stated above I want to get a 12'' Lethal Injection and I was wondering what would be a good amplifier to get? I was looking at a Sundown Audio but I guess the prices were just raised? That or the 1000 watt was taken off of this website? If someone could help me out it would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

Jeremy

DO NOT BUY A PREFAB!!! ur much better off building ur own box. most prefabs are tuned really high and will sound like shit. as for an amp, go with a sundown. a bit pricey but well worth it.

Only reason I was going to go prefab is because my carpentry skills suck. I am one of the most unhandy people you will meet when in it comes to wood. So anyone have any suggestions on which amp exactly I should look at and where I should get a box made? If it helps I live in upstate Ny.

Thanks,

Jeremy

Actually the boxes on ebay from sonix whatever, are tuned at a decent frequency. I would just be more worried them about having enough port area.

40 Hz. is not a decant frequency for daily.

Anyone ever went to Klaus Audio and gotten a sub box? They custom make them to what specs you need. Any advice would help.

Thanks,

Jeremy

Well I was thinking 2.5 Cubic Feet. But the reason I was thinking that was because I saw a box on youtube that I believe it was someone from this site. His youtube account is Hondak20z1. His box and set up looked tight. Was hoping for rear firing sub and port. Thanks again. Glad everyone is actually getting back to me quick at this forum.

Thanks,

Jeremy

I know, they're tuned a 32hz and like 35hz.. maybe 38hz... but not 40hz. They have some alright looking boxes if you look.. the port area I kinda worry about .

170 shippped sounds good to me. Do you know the dimensions so I could check it with my trunk? Also anyone know what model amp I should get. I have stock electric. I am going to do the Big Three just nervous. Dont know much about that kind of stuff. If anyone is around the Upstate Ny area and was willing to help me out let me know. Also Argent could you pm me details on the box?

Thanks again,

Jeremy

Yea I cant wait to finally have everything done. Ketty do you have an electrical upgrades? I might get a batcap or just a regular capacitor so I dont have to mess around with my electrical too much.

Don't bother with the capacitor. It won't help voltage problems.

If you're running 600-1000 watts you should try doing your big3 first and go from there.

I'm just running a zx750.1 and I might add a small amp for the 6x9s... but in general I'm not trying to go past 1000 watts. I probably will do some electrical upgrades, look into doing the big three... capacitors seem to be more of a pain in the ass in the long run for me.

Anyone know a good how to video or tutorial on the Big 3? Also does anyone know what battery I should get. My battery now seems to struggle a bit in the winter. And that was running a 300 rms sub. Sorry for all the questions just want my new system to bang.

Did you want anything like flush mount or double baffle? Each option is +$5.

Also every enclosure comes with Dayton Audio Gold plated terminals.

Yea Argent I would like to get the double baffle and flush mount. How long will the box take to make? I should have my tax money by March 6th. Where are you shipping from?

Thanks,

Jeremy.

Also anyone know a good amp to use for the 12'' Lethal Injection? What would be the benefit of wiring 1 ohm vs 2 ohm or 4ohm? If I have stock electric probably should go with 2 or 4 ohm? Just trying to figure this all out. Thanks again.
