we are inner city, cost means alot to us, the equipment we have meets our expectations.

price, asthetics, prooven performance, and the maturity that revolves around the folks behind the product.....

out of these, price is a high one and we have used the subs before, they done well for us.

the surround is 2 layer foam. i will be building the box next week.

the guys who have been testing the amps seem quite pleased with them....

when i seen them in person, i was as well.

i have been unemployed for 5 months, starting my seconde build, and taking our fifth family vacation, i use my money wisely, so i can enjoy many hings, not just one..

Small minded is making a decision without considering all the factors.

Not sure what "inner city" has to do with cost. Price is important to everyone.

As for proven performance, perhaps a discussion as compared to what would be important for that to be relevant. No need to have that conversation here as you can always choose to do whatever you want with your money. It surely won't offend me. The guys that I have seen that have been testing them have no idea what they are doing, but I am sure there are exceptions.

Curious why you think 2 layer foam is a positive.

And the part that really makes no sense to me is the last sentence. You have a family, you have a grandson, you have no job and you are buying a sub for your ride? I think a priority shift might be in order, but again your life your decisions.

This is getting a little out of hand.

Chop has a job as an ironworker. This is not the place where we tell people how to live their lives. I know that not everyone gets along, but sometimes it feels like too much bickering.

Lets just stick to the topic guys.

thank you again for your valued input.

what would you like me to focus my priority on......?

are you in assumption that my family does not come first? we , as a whole, do fine on all accounts.

where in this thread or last sentence did you read any thing to do with my grandson, what is the purpose of mentioning him in any way, you had already said family, which would include him, so what is it you are attempting to communicate here?

is this somehow going to effect your opinion of the equipment i have chosen?

i did secure a "approved" amp , so you should rest easier tonight for that....

i will keep the focus on the subs as will the rest of us for now.

inner city, sorry, i used that a little generic and i filled it with my own insight and stereotypes. i used the term very generically for referance to being low-income and a urban like mentality.

our focus is, what can be bought cheap and perform well..... so, with any of our installs, rest assured there will not be alot of money involved in them.

the performance, well it is relative also, so far, we are just tickled with our desicions.

our installs seem to quite well for our taste.

oh, double foam surround, well i was only answering a question, it was not my specs to build it, just how it was done, just a question and a answer, totally noobed out on why it would or would not be just wonderfully positive. sorry could not help with more info on that.

thanks to bigrank916 .
