Amp question and other questions

Recommended Posts

Hey guys im new to the forum and just have a few questions i need help getting answered.

I have 2 fi ssd 10s 2ohm dvc and i have about 220 dollars to spend on an amp. Im pretty much looking for a used amp. What amps could i find that will put out around 1200 to 1600 watts used for around 200 to 220? But if im mostly looking for a 1600 watt amp for around that price

Also what are the best places to buy a cheap wiring kit that will handle that power?

And one last question, sorry for all the questions im asking.

I have a hifonics aphrodite that i got from a neighbor a long time ago and its a 6 channel 300 watt amp with crossover. Im just wondering if i should use this amp on my door speakers or is it even worth selling?

No I just collect junk.

Really though, your budget is pretty tight for the power output you want.

Just so you know, in case you didn't, you should be looking for a mono amp that puts out the power at 2 ohms. AFAIK all of hifonics mono amps are made for 1 ohm minimum operation.

As said above, keep that amp, it is a ZED Built classic. You should be able to get by for a while on this amp while you save up for a new amplifier for the sub woofers.

To me keep it and use it on your door speakers and sell the Infinity once you get a better amp for your subwoofers, you have a classic amp in your hands.

Look into audiopipe. Decent budget amps that do power at 2ohms. But if you can get a used or refurb sundown.
