what are some tips to get good bass response into cabin of a big trunk car that the seats dont fold down? car is a 02 caddy deville.dont want to break the bank in electrical upgrades and equipment. want to run around 1500w or so. and spend 350-400 on subs not including box

Taking your rear speakers out sounds like your best bet and porting through the rear deck can help out as well.

You will be fine with just one XS Power battery (contact Nathan at XS Power for what battery you will need), make sure you get a volt meter and do the Big 3 (just monitor your voltage from there).
