new scooter

yep...

here they are...

here's my 2004 nighttrain (fxstb) custom. it has burly bars, aftermarket grips, levers, pegs, controls and samson exhaust. it's cammed a bit and is lowered about 2". mods planned, mag front whhel or barbed wire style spoke to go with the paint, enhanced barbed wire theme paint, new seat and console. that's it for now, but we'll see....

and now her trailblazer...

it's an 2005 graystone metallic 4wd version. it has the 4.2ltr inline 6 (which is a sweet motor!) and is completely loaded. it is only missing two options....the overhead dvd, which because we opted for a sunroof, we can't get the dvd. and the the v8, but u can only get that in the extended version. and enough rambling...

funny thing is my parents just bought a silverado and are selling the trailblazer. incase anyone wants to buy.same engine, 2003 i think (they are getting rid of it because its about to go out of warranty, 3years)

not 4wd, no sun roof.

17,000 negotiable (ill take $100 off the price if you give me a good head unit...lol)

ok nuf of dat.

the rear end... i dont know if GM fixed this but when outs had 100miles on it the rear end went out, and that was a recurring problem (so we found out) with some the trailblazers.

other than that i like it, they liked it except for the MPG which i thought would have been better with a 6cyl. now we are sapposed to get the same with the 5.3 in the silverado.

well anyway, looks nice, i like the bushed aluminum trim (ours doesnt have that). and 4wd is always fun...go to the outerbanks in NC and play around on the beach...youll need 4wd (we also found that out).

ryan..i knew u'd say that...lol...

here are the wheels we are looking at for the TB...

M715Black1.jpg

but we aren't decided yet....

cb, hopefully this has zero problems. it's got the absolute sweetest ride of any 4wd i've ever seen.

also, u can expect about 17-19mpg out of ur silverado, depending upon foot. i average 16.5 outa mine ( z71 xcab w/ 5.3) adn i've got a heavy foot. i expect about 20 out the TB.

the harley gets 40 at almost full throttle!!! hehe

we must have just gont a f'd up one. 16mpg average hwy. 10 while towing. But im not feeling it because it isnt my vehicle, lol.

Doood so screw thoes rims... 35" mud grips 20" rims, 4" lift in the front 3" in the rear...

thoes rims + 4wd = making no sence... lol but they would look pretty sweet on there.

i don't believe they even make a lift for the TB's...something about one of the front axleshafts running thru the oilpan...

but in any case, my z71 is for the fun stuff...the TB is the family vehicle..it'll never go off road.

Man, my buddy worked at a GM dealership and told me all these horror stories about the damn Trailblazers. How about cracked blocks with lesss than 1000 miles on them, burnt pistons, oil consumption because the original design placed the piston ring valley way to close to the conrod wristpin, the taillight circuitboard fiasco, I could go on. Now my other buddy bought one and he's put about 200 miles on it for the 2 months he's had it. It's been in the shop for about 1 month straight now and it's still trash. All manufacturers screw things up from time to time, and from what I've heard and witnessed on the TBs, they need to figure their crap out. Hope yours fares well. ;)

Um, have you messed with any Fords? Ford cannot engineer any wiring schematics correctly at all. That and they use different sized hardware for everything. Pisses me off. You'll have a 10mm on one side and a 12 on the other. How stupid is that?!

GM interiors is currently what pisses me off most about them

i think all my jacked up wiring under the dash is from the "professional" alarm install before i got it
