Skipping cd player/HU

ok my girls dad bought her a cheap lil boss HU, and whenever she hits a bump it skips, lol, so i was thinking maybe put some sponge or something in thier and it would fix the problem any other ideas?

Throw it out the window? Seriously, this may sound odd, but everytime I've encountered a skipping CD player, it was not mounted securely. I feel the padding will make it worse.

Cheap CD cleaner disk. If that doesnt fix it then just clean more CD players

its not the cd player, cuz it only happens when a bump or somethin occurs, i'll try to secure it better

I agree with this as I have noticed the same thing. However I have seen padding help for heavy bass hits.

Dont tell but my bro put some carpet under his p9 to keep it stable in the harness
