Diamond Audio D3 vs Ascendant Audio Havocs

Recommended Posts

Hey guys! I received my Hovoc 15's 2 days (Thanks you Brian) ago and installed them yesterday. DAMN!!!! Thats all I can say lol. I had 2 Diamond Audio d3 previously and they were great. They hit pretty hard but didnt hit the lows hard enough for me. I had a Mmats 2000.1 amp powering both subs and the d3's couldnt handle it when cracked up, they started to smell like smoke after playing them hard and long. Overall they are great entry level subs, nice quality, and they hit hard. now for the havocs, out the box I knew these things was going to be a beast, and they are. After I installed them I rode around for a couple of hours just playing different songs and instantly these things blew me away. The sounded much smoother, and hit harder then the diomonds. They hit more aggressively and didnt look like they sweated a bit doing so lol. So the next day I get up and drove around to break the subs in some more and they sounded much better then they did yesterday, I mean the sound better everytime I turn them on. Overall the d3's are great but the havocs are in a league by its delf compared to the d3's. Hovocs win hands down, from looks to performance. Hopes this helps a bit. If yall have more questions feel free to ask.

Nice review and congrats on your purchase of some good equipment, now where are the pictures? But yeah they are just gonna keep getting louder til the suspension softens up some more :fing34:

Glad you like them. I almost called you back to make sure you got everything hooked up the other night, but when I did not hear back from you, I assumed you did. :)
