I had one and I didnt like it. It does the job though on a tight budget. Dont expect any sound quality from that amp either.

I owned a 600.4 and it has a good punch to it, but it completely lacks deep bass, if you want something that sounds good for real cheap, get a hifonics amp for the price they are good. Ive owned two of them.

crunch=hifonics.

Maxxxsonics owns Crunch, MB Quart, Autotek, and Hifonics.

Only thing's i have heard about crunch was that the GP3000d was very good.

Haha it says its a monster, yeah when you see the smoke rising up from it then you will think its a monster. I had two different Crunch amps and they suck, I switched an old Sony out for a Crunch amp it sucked ass I put the Sony back in. Honestly if you have to ask about an amp then more than likely it isnt to up to par, might be good for a budget amp though for some (but not me no matter what budget I have).

I know crunch is hifonics, but hifonics is there higher quality line aka being better sounding than crunch.

Somebody wants to trade me my 2 cadence xtr750.1d's for a crunch amp. I the cadence amp is 600rms @ 1ohm.. when drapped together i get 1200 @ 2 ohms. Which i want 1 ohm. but im pushing 2 type r's dvc 4

Just sell your amps and give us a working budget and somebody will help you find what you need. I would rather save up and at least buy something worth the money to spend on an amp then to just throw some cash out there on something just to get you buy.

The amplifier had absolutely nothing to do with your system lacking deep bass.

um yes it did, because I tried a hifonics amp, and a crunch amp, with the very same subwoofer and wires and head unit, the only thing that changed was the amp. My old hifonics died so I used that crunch for a couple months and it didn't sound at all the same. I was using monster cables best rca wire $140, 2 gauge wire, a kenwood excelon x991 head unit, and monster speaker cable to the 15" kove sub.

I personally think Maxxsonics has some good products.

Some are indeed low budget and the ratings are all fuCked up, but not all. The MB Quart DSC's look damn good and are getting good reviews. From personal experience the GP3000D's are very nice and put out more than rated.

Some of their offerings are a damn good bang for the buck IMO, you just have to do your homework before you buy.

ya, I used the crunch for my speakers, and it works great for that but the crunch amps freq response only goes down to 30hz unlike the hifonics which they go down to 5hz, I know no sub can hit that low but it doesn't hurt to have a lil headroom

A subwoofer will play anything, the only factor that changes is volume. You cannot hear anything below ~20 hz.

I've never seen a 1500.1 with 4-40amp fuses, only 3-40 amp fuses , and those are class a/b amps and are rated at 750 wrms. Do u have pics of the amp.

I'm not exactly sure what your saying in your first statement there, but I know very well you can't here below 20hz, but what about the 20-30hz range that the crunch doesn't cover, and my ears don't lie when I hear a big difference in anything lower than 40hz between the crunch and hifonics.

Just sell your amps and give us a working budget and somebody will help you find what you need. I would rather save up and at least buy something worth the money to spend on an amp then to just throw some cash out there on something just to get you buy.

Trust me ive been tring to sell them but no bites . People keep wanten to trade. Im not even putting a big price on my amps. i have a kicker750.1, kicker550.3 , 2 cadence xtr750.1d , and 2 alpine type r's. Im ready to sell everything and start over but use my head . Money really no big deal but i think selling sum to buy sum sound better . im really not interested in low end car audio . i like kicker , alpine , and cadence subs. id say i can do 200 for subs and 200 for an amp . I like 1 ohm deep bass , 2 subwoofers not 1 . And i do plan on doing the big three. So if you know of sum newer subs of sum dope subs that would be great info, same with the amp . But if i sell sum of this car audio then i can spend more . thanks for the info

Ohm load does not depict frequency.

So what is your logic, that because Crunch puts 30 hz as the lower limit on their amps they can't reproduce any notes below that?

I'd like to see what you say about that, KU40.

I thought that the amp would not make the woofer plays below the lower limit of the amp. Even if I know the box plays a big role in the sub response.
