Powering 2 BL 10's

My current system consists of 2 JL10w3's which I have had for a few years. They have always exceeded my expectations and impressed my not-so-caraudio-savy friends. I have done my research and set my sites on Fi BL 10's. I am wondering if my dual ported JL 10'' box and pdx 1.1000 will be enough to get a great performance out of 2 BL 10's. I'm not looking for maximum power, I am just trying to impliment new subs into my existing setup w/o the need to purchase a new box and amp. Thanks a lot in advance for your help.

If that is a prefab box then I wouldnt even buy any new subs right now, I would spend my money on just getting a better enclosure made for your current subs.

That box doesn't look like it'll have enough port area. I would also be leery of net volume and tuning frequency. I'd go measure and find those things out.

I would suggest saving up a few dollars for a custom enclosure. It will be well worth it and make the most out of your drivers.

Thanks a lot for your help guys. Are there boxes you recommend? Ive only seen videos of a single BL 10 or 12 so i can't really comment on their performance compared to my current set up. Is 2 necessary when trying to top my current situation?

in a properly built enclosure id go as far as to say a single 10 or 12 bl will out perform your w3s

Try to see if you could sell your entire setup to one of your friends.

"Establish" (don't know how to say it!) a budget.

You need a custom box, a sub, and maybe a new amplifier.

Better be a good seller !
