i was thinking of running two audioque 1200d at a 20hm load, do you guys think thats to much power for a daily driver or would it make more sense to do one kicker 1500.1 or a rockford power 1500.1?

So you want to throw 2400 watts at the stroker, it can be done if you leave the gain knob down and you know how to control the volume knob wisely. I would get the kicker but it has a set sub sonic filter which would only allow you to build certain ported boxes tuned in a small frequency range instead of your preferences.

I personally am not a fan of kicker. What is your budget?

I would personally get the sundown saz-2000d. It is rated at 1000 rms @ 2 ohm but it is an underrated amplifier.

1000 watts rms is also rated at 12.8 volts vs kicker's 1500 @14.4 volts.

This amplifier will also be easier to resell and if you ever want to get another stroker you can use the same amplifier.

Kicker is a 2 ohm stable amp and nobody wants a 2 ohm stable amp =)

Sundown amplifiers come with a 2 year warranty.

x2, yeah the Sundown will do what you want it to and if you upgrade in the future you always have to ability to run something at 2000watts @ 1 ohm.

:woot:

get the sundown, they are amazing amplifiers. Check db-r.com regularly to see if they get any ones refurbished. they are only like 385 or something refurbished (there is one in stock today!)

plus someone on the forum might have one they want to get rid of if the one on db-r is gone. They can go pretty fast

like the last 3000d, i wonder who got that one..

:ehh::ehh:

:santa:
