thanks guys. doors are primed and hopefully i start deadening the car tomorrow. something odd happened and i received some old old damplifier pro instead of regular damp black so i called ssa and ant just sent me out a black pack for free. that's how you keep customers coming back! ups took their sweet time sending this to me also, processed and whatnot on the 18th and didn't get to me till the 4th

i'll try real hard to get pickys tomorrow. feedback appreciated

Nice body work dude. Thats a tedious process there.

This is how you deaden a vehicle! Strip that bitch and slap it on everywhere! Cant wait to see the sludge.

haha thanks man. deadening sounds so fun i can't wait to slap that bitch with it.

i posted this on ca also and somebody asked for pics of my dad's camaro so i dug out some pictures with good stories

let's start with the kz1000 my dad built for his buddy

PIC-0258.jpg

chromed out motor, exhaust, chrome six inch extended sway bar and chrome everything else. personally i'm not a fan of chrome but it's not my bike..

that nice bimmer in the background was my first real crash. wasn't so nice after i was done with it. pucking score!

PIC-0144.jpg

edging out the fender

PIC-0067.jpg

my dad does big things.. like sara palin. haha

IMG00170-20090311-1926.jpg

this is the only pic i have of the maro right now. if it's at the house tomorrow i will snap some pics of it if you wanna see more of it. maybe i can steal the girl's cam and get some deec pictures of it

IMG00053-20090418-1111-1.jpg

way back when i had motivation to finish this thing :/

IMAGE_025.jpg

subframe

IMAGE_010.jpg

sanding on the firewall

oh yeah that picture has the 8awg power wire that i thought would be adequate years ago. it's my remote wire nao :)

IMAGE_009.jpg

got it ready for paint. bubby crashed so i helped him prep his bumper

looking forward to everyone's feedback. don't be shy!

thanks j

i need some help with some positioning. the box is going to be in lieu of the back seat on the driver's side. would the best combo be sub and port forward? if yes port on top or port on bottom.

port (and sub?) to the side and use the trim as a loading wall? seal the trunk completely and face both to the back of the car?

i know this isn't the ideal placement but i'm trying to make the best of it

thanks in advance

my buddy got stuck coming to my house to diagnose a few rattles. had to walk a good two miles to my truck so i could pick him up. seems like there is a downside to having 300+ pounds of equipment in the car other than not being able to use the spare tire haha. 2 fi q12 and a dd m3

IMG_0069.jpg

IMG_0073.jpg

used three spl tiles and a sheet of damplifier. only one tile on there for the pic

IMG_0083.jpg

back to my car. got stuff painted and matte clear is funky stuff. hard to paint and i orange peeled it but hey, it looks good regardless

This was a dream for me as a teenager. I had a 71 full bumper 350. Wanted to drop a crate motor in it with maaaad beat. Thats the ultimate combo for me. Muscle and beat. You have done some great work here. Very, very nice.

Btw, was that the yumyum in your hand while doing a little bodywork? Reaaally nice.:P
