Recommended Posts

how much do you think a setup like this would cost i just want a wall going across my trunk (for 2 12" RL-P's) like in the pictures and maybe when i fold down my seats ill put some plexiglass so you can look at the subs but if it costs too much then its out of the question

cardboard is your friend. Get empty boxes from a nearby warehouse and make templates for everything, that way you can get a perfect fit and not waste a bunch of time installing, removing, recutting, reinstalling, etc. wood. Also I personally used 1/2" thick plywood for all the faces to save weight. The box is still 3/4" MDF but the plywood saved a good bit of weight. 3M spray glue and carpet, long hours, lots of cussin, some good jams and viola, in a couple of weeks exactly whats in the pics.

well i tried fitting some cardboard in my trunk today and i ran into a couple of problems. In my car there are 2 rods that go across my trunk and when they close they push right up agaisnt the cardboard.

so i was wondering how i can resolve this ill try to get a couple of pictures up, but the wall is going to be 41" across and it looks like about 22" high but i want the wall to be shaped around my wheel well like in the 2nd picture above
