Can i get custom coils made for it to be 2 ohms and have it setup to take 200 rms playing 80hz to 3k hz......

i take it that they can have custom cones and coils made like subs....

Have you heard them with 100 watts at 4 ohm? If so, was it not enough for you? They are pretty versatile to fit your individual needs but I dont think they make them custom though.

Install one and see how it sounds. I wanted two of the same speaker also. Im installing one in each door right now. I have them in a mock enclosure currently but they get real loud from the SAX100.4 and that is at half-gain.santa.gif

Have you ever heard the mli65s in person yet?

I very much doubt you can get them custom made. Haven't seen somebody do that and still keep them relatively low-priced.

Take a read here.

I think it's the same difference when talking about 4 ohms vs 2 ohms.

Either way, you are putting a lot less stress on the amplifier by running at 4 ohms instead of 2 ohms.
