i can hook my mids and highs up either 2 ohm stereo or 4 ohm bridged. Is either way more efficient than the other? Right now im just running all 4 channels regular, but next week when my other 6.5's get here i am changing it. thanks

Usually when you wire an amp to 2 ohms the output of the amplifier increases.

Are you wanting to bridge the amp to 2 channel?

its 160x4 at 2ohms and 320x2 bridged 4 ohms. I can use it either way. I was just wondering if its more efficient or works better running bridged 4 ohm? Im just running some powerbass 4xl's on it.

Usually the higher the ohm load the more efficient, I would just leave it how it is (wont see or hear a difference).

You have 2 ohm speakers? what do you got? Most speakers I thought were 4 ohms....

Focal makes 2Ohms speakers, JBL too, and lot of others...

It's a way to use the most power out of your amplifier, or to buy smaller amps that will play at 2 Ohms.

On my SAX-100.4 I have channels 1/2 at 2Ω and channels 3/4 at 4Ω all stereo and it's MORE then enough power.

should i set the subsonsic filter on the amp? also what is a good range to set the frequency at? All is Turned to HPF on all channels

When in high pass mode the SSF filter will not be beneficial as it is a high pass filter itself. But if you want to run midbass you can switch to low pass and then use the SSF to use as a pass band filter.

This will depend on what the speakers can handle, how high you plan on playing your sub. So give us more information so someone can help you.

Yes that is how I had mine setup. Play around with the SSF filter and crosover settings. Play some of your favorite music and crossover as low as you can without audible stress on the midbass.

well currently im not running a sub i ran into some financial problems so i sold my amps, but when thing get better my two q's will be running off of a saz-1500d, the door speakers are 6.5 100wrms alpines.
