What boxes? Download winISD or some other box program and plot them in the boxes you want. That'll at least give you a relative answer on their frequency response.

The only way to ever truly tell is to buy them both, put them in the same box, same car, and run them off that same amp. Then decide for yourself and sell the ones you don't like. Sad, but true.

Two totaly different designs! Nightshade is made to get loud and compete in SPL and the Icon is a sound quality built driver.
