USA 2000x self destructed PICS

Has been flawless for over 1.5 yrs till the other day it shut off at low volume level. I only had the car on for 10 min aswell And then the car turned into a BBQ....What in the world happend? Is this fixable? Guess im going to have to talk to Greg I am assuming? :(

These are all the same MOSFET on one side closest to the power imputs

Damn that looks nasty, hopefully it gets better for you and you can get it fixed.

It looks like your ground wire melted from the heat from the mosfet rail and then zap it shorted out and burnt up.

isnt the rail grounded to begin with? I was thinking something of that sort happend but to be completely honest, I believe it melted AFTER the bar turned into glowing molten metal. Im just hoping the board isn't toast because then I can have it fixed by greg.

Yes the rail is grounded. I hope it is repairable also. I was just taking a guess based on th pictures.

Leave the cover off and hang it on the garage wall as a trophy!!! save up for another one. Thats pretty cool

It can and will be fixed today with SEVEARAL updates...... As to what happened. It looks like 2 outputs died and the amp tried to drive through the shorted outputs.
