Z v.2 ETA Pushed Back

Recommended Posts

Due to shipping delays the Z v.2 ETA is being pushed back to January 2010. I was hoping to start shipping them before the end of the year but that will not happen.

There will not be a pre-sale but I will offer introductory pricing on them when all my parts are in.

Z v.2 -- ETA January

SA-8 -- ETA February

SA-10 / 15 -- ETA March-April

NS v.2 -- ETA May-June

The only new amplifier on schedule right now is the SAZ-4500D... first run sold out, second run perhaps March. It would be sooner but we have 3 weeks of delays from upcoming Chinese New Year + CES.

Thats good to hear, the Nightshade v.2 wont be dropped until this upcoming summer which leaves me time to get my build finish and save some money to swap the Z-15 for the Nightshade v.2 and see which fits me better.

Yes, different cone... specs will be roughly the same.

any chance for a custom z sub for 1200 rms,low end monster to match my new sae-1200?

They are all very capable of excellent low-end extension.

I haven't posted specs w/ production spiders yet... earlier posted TS were with stiffer Nightshade spiders.

I used a bit softer than stock suspension for my SPL testing and hit it with 7200 watts bursts... I have a feeling you will be fine.

Linear x-max by 70% BL is 22mm each way -- the driver will continue to throw up to basket limits.

Box size = same as Nightshade v.1
