distribution block melting

i have a jl slash 1000/1 connected to a yellow top battery but have ran into problems w the distrubution blocks that keep melting only the side that has the wire going into my amp will melt.. i use to have 4 gauge wire than upgraded to 0 and am still having the same probblem would it be the amp? or a grounding probblem?

What sized fuse do you have? How is your grounding (check to see if its in a good spot with sand painted off). I was gonna say to much current going through the wire but you have 1/0 awg on it.

I'm gonna say grounding, and is there any inline fusing?

Also, if the fuse is loose it will melt. Good idea to check and tighten those screws every now and then or use some blue loc-tight on them. Vibrations will slowly back them out.
