sundown saz 2000d 1/2 ohm stable?

i am looking to buy an amp and im kind of undecided on what i want. right now im leaning towards a sundown 2000 but i need to know if anyone has ran one at 1/2 ohm because i need atleast 2000 watts rms @ 1/2 ohm or 2 ohm

it is 1/2 ohm stable with proper electrical. of course I am assuming you are using it for daily use, not SPL, so I will say it is not recommended for daily, but a few guys do it with backed up electrical, like nice H/O alty and extra batt (s)

.5 ohm will void your warranty, plus you'll need the electrical to back up that amp.

i have the big 3 done and 2 extra batts and stock alt for now and my batts are optima red top so i probrably shouldnt try it.

Go for the 2000 @ 2ohm. The money you would waste on the electrical to run @ 1/2 ohm could buy you a nice amp. You could always change the coils down the road for that 1 ohm power boost.

I am doing it with a stock alt, a single Yellow Top, and a Single HC2400. 1/0 all over. My drop isn't bad when riding, but pretty bad when idling.

But if your not confident in doing it, don't.

x2, good idea on that one. Just get a big amp that does the power at 2 ohms instead of pushing an amp to its limits or more.
