How long did it take for YOUR sub to arrive ?

Recommended Posts

Just curious.

As of right now for me, I ordered mine on sunday. Still haven't received any email yet other than order confirmation :/ I do realize today is the first business day though.

I wonder what the quickest someone has received theirs is.

I believe Nick said that they were waiting on some materials to arrive. I am sure Nick will chime in and say for sure.

This is worthless, everyday someone makes a topic about this same thing (if your gonna by a hand made sub please be willing to wait or dont buy it). Look throw the FI thread and read others testomonies and you will find out how long it takes or how long it took them to get their sub. :threadsucks:

took mine about... 14 to 16 days, i can't remember for sure. I got a call from... Scott i believe on the seventh day saying that a shipment of their magnets was held up in customs. due to the extended period of time, Scott included a free shirt and a free sticker pack! I wasn't even concerned with the fact that the BTL hadn't come yet. I really couldn't be pleased more with the Fi customer service. The fact that Scott took time out of his day to call me AND include the free stuff amazed me. Don't worry, it will come, and if it doesn't, you can always give them a call! But wait a while first!

There is no reason to be a dick. I never said I wasn't willing to wait. I just asked how long it usually takes.

Also note that the lead time is now ~30 days.

That is only for the BTLs. I ordered an SSD.

Nobody is being a dick, its gets ridiculous how many useless topics like this we see everyday. If you would use the search feature your questioned could have been answered without making this topic. Stop getting emotional dude, its just words (keep your emotions inside, thats a females trait).

Regardless of what you order...we machine the parts PER order...we do not keep 'stock' on anything..nor do we build speakers and put them on the shelf. No part is pulled in the machine shop until we have the order ticket in the machine shop...same goes for the build shop..and the shipping/packing department..

If you order on Sunday your build process does not start until the next business day (Today, Monday)

Most of your motor was machined today and should be assembled tomorrow...it may even go out tomorrow at the 3:30 pickup.

We're currently waiting on BTL magnets...everything else is on par for what is normal lead time *3-7 Business days*

Thanks!

Sorry to bother again, but I'm confused.

My UPS status has said "received billing information" for 2 days straight now. Is that normal ?

I got a tracking number on Wednesday. I was told building started on Monday.

Yea that is just what I was wondering. I have tracked my share of shipments, so I'm just making sure there isn't something wrong.

Naw its nothing wrong, now all you have to do is play the waiting game thats all. The more you think about it the longer it will take, the less you think about it then the quickier it will show up (thats what I have learned).

i ordered my 15" BL a little over a month ago maybe 2 and it got to my house in about 8days from ordering it..... i was very pleased with how fast it came considering they hand build them when u order it thanks FI audio!!! there packaging was kinda cheep but who cares it kept it safe. its like that was song we all probably herd when we were kids.

Good things come in shi*ty packages... or was that small... lol

It's not cheap packaging. BL's are crated in with packaging foam and 7/16 plywood screwed together with long screws and 2x3's effectively wedging the sub into place so it does not move.

It doesn't break...which is the whole point of it...we've spent a LOT of time in R&D in packaging... If you want to pay 20 more dollars per sub to have a shiny box (that is going to get torn up by UPS anyways) we can do that...but that somewhat goes outside of the whole point of getting a custom to you American made product and not paying an arm and 3 legs to get it...which is what Fi is about.

We can do pretty...if you want to pay :)
