just a quick question, is it possible for a amp to be "too cold"?

Most likely, but I would assume, that you would never experience that inside your car.

haha no, its the coldest its been all year right now. here in vegas. supposed to dip around 30's next week.

just curious.

Not really. Amps work more efficiently in cold.

yeah that won't be a problem. I'm up in the upper peinsula of michigan where its about 34 right now. Last winter it was well below zero on quite a few days and everything still works just fine!! especially with the amp. the only real worry is to allow the subs to warm up for 5 minutes or so before really blasting them. (that's not my intelligence, i asked a similar question to yours on the forum and that's the response i got) But as far as my experience goes, the cold won't effect your amp
