How much can the Rl- i8's handle?

I have a viper 1200.1 itll do 1200wrms at 1ohm is 600 watts too much for the 8? What amp would you reccomend for 2 of these? I know everyone hates the vs. ?'s but What would be louder 4 RE8's or 2 Rl-8's given there right box and watts.

welcome to the site first of all, but if your smart with the gains and you don't abuse the subs you should be ok with that kind of power on a pair of RL-i 8's

What about ,3 cuft per sub does that sound ok? Cause those signed subs look perty. Just dont want to mess them up with 600WRMS.

ur not going to mess them up with 600wrms. they are rated for 500..lol...and a pair would be awesome of 1200wrms.

.3ft^3 sealed per driver would be nice
